Late Mail: The Panthers have made a call on their Origin stars, with four to be rested. Dylan Edwards has been replaced at the back by Daine Laurie, who’s done a good job there in relief at times this season. 18yo debutant Casey McLean will start on the wing for Brian To’o. 19yo forward Luron Patoa will also make his NRL debut. He’ll come off the bench with Liam Henry to start in the back row in Liam Martin’s place while Brad Schneider will partner Jack Cole in the halves with Jarome Luai out. Captain Isaah Yeo is the only Origin rep from either club who will back up.

Late Mail: Cowboys coach Todd Payten has decided to rest all of his Origin stars with Reece Robson, Murray Taulagi, Reuben Cotter, Val Holmes, Tom Dearden and Jeremiah Nanai to all be rested. Nanai was not named for the club’s clash with Penrith as the Cowboys manage a calf complaint that bugged him during QLD’s camp for Game II. orth Queensland’s six Origin reps all appeared to get through Game II unscathed.
